Kickoff times set for two MSU games

EAST LANSING - Michigan State's first two home football games against Montana State and Central Michigan have recieved kickoff times and television network assignments.

The Sept. 5 season opener against Montana State will be televised by the Big Ten Network. The game against the Bobcats of the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division 1-AA) will kickoff at noon.

The Sept. 12 match-up against Central Michigan will also kickoff at noon and will air on either ESPN or ESPN2.

FOUR EMU GAMES ON TV: Eastern Michigan football will make four television appearances during the 2009 season.

Two games against Big Ten foes Northwestern and Michigan will air on the Big Ten Network. The Sept. 12 game against the Wildcats will start at 11 a.m. while the Eagles and Wolverines will kick off at noon on Sept. 19. Two televised Mid-American Conference games will also feature the Eagles. ESPN Plus will air the Oct. 10 game at Central Michigan and ESPNU will televise a road game at North- ern Illinois with kickoff sched- uled for 6:30 p.m on Nov. 5.
