EAST LANSING - Three Michigan State players - forward Corey Tropp, defenseman Jeff Petry and goaltender Drew Palmisano - have been named to the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's All-Conference second team.

Petry received three first-team votes from the league's 12 coaches and placed fourth in the voting among defensemen with 21 points. Tropp had one first-team vote and placed sixth among forwards with 20 points. Palmisano had one first-team vote and 17 points.
MSU freshman defenseman Torey Krug got one first-place vote his eight points was seventh-highest among defenseman. Coaches could not vote for their own players.
Miami and Northern Michigan each had two players on the first team and the RedHawks had two on the second team.
The first team: Goaltender - Cody Reichard, sophomore, Miami; Defense - Eric Gustafsson, junior, NMU, and Eddie DelGross, senior, Nebraska-Omaha; Forwards - Mark Olver, junior, NMU; Jarod Palmer, senior, Miami; Zac Dalpe, sophomore, Ohio State.
Second team: Goaltender - Palmisano, MSU; Defense - Petry, MSU, and Zach Redmond, junior Ferris State; Forwards - Tropp, MSU; Andy Miele, junior, Miami; Tommy Wingels, junior, Miami.
