Best wins: Gonzaga, Georgia Tech, Maryland

Starters: F Kyle Singler, 6-8, Jr. (17.2 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.3 apg): G Jon Scheyer, 6-5, Sr. (18.9 ppg, 5.2 apg, 39.9 3FG pct.); G Nolan Smith, 6-2, Jr. (17.6 ppg, 3.0 apg, 40.4 3FG pct.); F Lance Thomas, 6-8, Sr. (5.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 45.5 FG pct.); C Brian Zoubek, 7-1, Sr. (5.4 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 63.6 FG pct.).

Coach: Jay Wright, 11-7 in seven appearances.

Overview: A talented, veteran group with plenty of holdover experience from last season's Final Four run, the Wildcats were at or near the top of the Big East for most of the season but stumbled down the stretch and finished as the league's fourth seed.

Best wins: Georgetown, West Virginia, Louisville.

Starters: G Scottie Reynolds, 6-2, Sr. (18.8 ppg, 4.4 apg, 48.1 FG pct.); G Corey Fisher, 6-1, Jr. (13.6 ppg, 4.0 apg, 45.4 FG pct.); F Antonio Pena, 6-8, Jr. (10.8 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 56.8 FG pct.); G Corey Stokes, 6-5, Jr. (9.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 87.8 FT pct.); G Reggie Redding, 6-5, Sr. (7.7 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 44.2 FG pct.).
